As of March 2021, there are three available Covid-19 vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. These vaccines are currently available for frontline healthcare workers and eligible patients. Each vaccine has proven to be successful in combating Covid-19. There has been increase of people receiving the vaccine and the decline of known Covid cases.

At MTS, a few employees were eligible for the vaccine and have already received it. Each day, more and more vaccines are becoming available. According to the CDC, Covid vaccines are effective and safe and the CDC recommends you get a vaccine as soon as you are eligible.

It is important to continue with the safeguards that have been put in place. Something as simple as washing your hands can help prevent Covid cases. Covid-19 is a virus that has affected everyone. Whether it was a loss of a job or loss of a loved one, this virus has put life into perspective. Thanks to healthcare workers working tirelessly every day and the doctors and scientists working to create successful vaccines, we are one step closer to putting this pandemic behind us.
